Difference between the cases of Yakub Memon and Sadhavi Pradnya

A couple of months earlier when Yakub Memon was hanged, there was outrage amongst a large section of self proclaimed liberal intellectuals and pseudo seculars.
A couple of them had sought to draw parallels between yakub memon and Sadhavi Pradnya, in a blatant attempt to deliberately confuse issues and wrongly portray that minorities are being victimised in BJP led India. These terrorist supporters had resorted to lies, falsehood and manipulation of facts to make a case for defending yakub memon, where none existed,

I have mentioned below a few reasons why the comparison is completely invalid and such charges of bias against minorities groundless:
1. Yakun memon was guilty of conspiring to conduct terrorist activities against India and attack the country, with the intent of killing hindus.
Sadhavi Pradnya has not been found guilty; forget being found guilty, even a chargesheet has not been filed against her even though she has been in jail for 6 or 7 years now.
2. There was plenty of evidence against yakub memon, basis which the court had sentenced him to death.
In Sadhavi Pradnya's case, there doesn't seem to be any evidence at all, because even a chargesheet has not been filed in the last 6-7 years.
3. While Yakub memon was in jail, the judicial process was followed very thoroughly and he was permitted all the legal recourses that are the right of any accused in a democracy. Even his mercy petitions were duly considered each time he made them. His conviction was based on facts and solid evidence of his complicity in the terror attacks.
In Sadhavi Pradnya's case, there are only allegations. She has been in jail for 6-7 years now and her trial has not even started simply because there is no evidence or proof to file a chargesheet against her.

Considering all the above points, it is obvious that the comparison is a fallacious one and made by terrorist supporters, whose allegations are motivated by religious hatred rather than being based on facts and proof.

As ordinary but loyal and patriotic Indian citizens, it is our duty to keep ourselves aware of such cases, so as to be able to recognise the devious designs of terrorist supporters who stay in our country but whose loyalties lie elsewhere and ensure that continue to support the BJP government in its fight against terrorism.

Indict Muslims who wed off minor girls: Gujarat high court

An excellent case of judicial activism for the greater common good and ensure protection of the rights of the most vulnerable class of society - who have been denied basic rights by their religion and do not find recourse in law.

In a supposedly modern society, which is also the world's largest democracy and claims to be committed ensuring women's and children's rights, it is sad to see regressive traditions being carried on to this day.

Most other religions have evolved over the past few decades and are now at a stage where a lot of discriminatory practices have been forsaken. But in this case, the fear of violence and compulsions of minority votebank politics had ensured that no action was taken in cases where minor girls were married off.

It is good to see that under the BJP government, all religions are treated equally and no one is given special treatment on religious grounds, which has created an atmosphere where such societal ills and regressive traditions are being curbed.

May we see more of such judicial activism, leading a clean-up not just in the case of Islamic traditions but also in Hindusim and Christianity.

Modi is the best leader with best policies since independence - says Rupert Murdoch

Rupert Murdoch has now gone on record saying that Indian PM Narendra Modi is the best leader India has had since independence.

It is very heartening to see that the good work and extra ordinary efforts to develop the nation that has been put in by the BJP government, under the capable leadership of Narendra Modi) is now being acknowledged even by people outside India.

The sad part is that pseudo seculars and minority vote banks still refuse to accept that Mode and the BJP are doing a great job and are best suited to rule the country and instead resort to lies and paltering with facts to mislead ordinary Indians into believing that the BJP isn't doing a good job.

Praise from neutral observers and great businessmen like Rupert Murdoch goes a long way into defeating the viciously negative misinformation campaign that congress and its pseudo secular allies in the media have launched against the BJP and Narendra Modi.

Pakistan lost 1965 war with India

The 1965 Indo-Pak war ended with a negotiated ceasefire, leaving the Pakistani leadership with plenty of space to manipulate facts and manoeuvre public opinion into deluding themselves that they had won the war.
The fact of the matter is that despite of element of surprise and the advantage afforded by making the first strike, equipped with the latest state of the art weapons and heavy artillery (supplied gratis by America), pakistan still couldn't not defeat India conclusively; and rather found itself in the rather embarrassing situation of having lost almost thrice the territory they managed to capture (and had it not been for the timely ceasefire, their territorial, personnel and material losses would have been considerably higher).

The advantages pakistan enjoyed were further compounded by corresponding weaknesses in India's ability to wage a war, most notable amongst these being:
1. India was still recovering from a humiliating defeat in the 1962 Sino-Indian war.
2. India was in the process of overhauling its military equipment and hardware and training officers and soldiers
3. Indian infantry and air force were still stuck with older  varieties of tanks and planes, handing pakistan a straight advantage (by virtue of pakistan possessing American supplied sabre aircraft and patton tanks)
4. India had to first negate and then overcome the element of surprise, in a war they were unprepared and ill-equipped for.
5. Indian political leadership was not the most decisive, bold or even realistic (best exemplified by Nehru and his 'I have instructed the Indian army to throw them out' remark on the Chinese intrusions in the 1962 war)

In spite of all the above, pakistan still claimed victory and their history textbooks teach children of the 'glorious victory', which the general public, in their deluded, celebrates every year (rather like a rat which has had to run to its hole but still believes it has bested the cat).

Now, a Pakistani scholar has at last accepted reality and urged his fellow pakistanis to accept facts and face the truth, rather than fooling themselves into believing that victory was theirs.

This honest Pakistani gentleman has accepted that pakistan lost the war - an assertion which is backed by most neutral accounts of the war, all of whom concur that pakistan was completely on the backfoot in the final stages of the war and that they were struggling to hold on to their territory, for which they had to take assistance from China and open backdoor diplomatic channels to request the americans to pressurise India for a ceasefire (failing which pakistans defeat would have been certain and total).

For those who are interested, the link to the article is given below (note also that this link of from an UAE newspaper, which ceteris paribus would be inclined to support the Pakistani viewpoint).

http://gulfnews.com/news/asia/pakistan/pakistan-lost-terribly-in-the-1965-war-with-india-1.1578642

A final note - this proves that the BJP government was justified in recently celebrating the 50th anniversary of the war to mark a great victory, contrary to claims by certain 'liberal intellectuals' that the war was a stalemate.

Presstitutes - the latest example showcasing their lack of ethics and neutrality

Further to the article shared in a blog yesterday - on Gujarat being the most business friendly state as per a World Bank study - imagine my surprise when I found that the article was nowhere to be found in the websites of TOI and Indian Express. What should have been front page news has been relegated not just to the second or third pages but right back to the anonymous sections of their websites.
Deccan Herald is even worse. Their headline is about Karnataka being amongst the laggards in terms of business friendliness, with the bit about BJP topping mentioned as a one line side note in small print.

Our so called 'mainstream' newspapers are blatantly displaying how they play to their vested interests and downplay any good news about the BJP government and its work; while at the same time not stopping shy of manipulating facts to show the government in negative light - all pretensions to fair, unbiased and investigative journalism be damned.

No wonder General V.K Singh referred to them as presstitutes, which is an apt description given how these newspapers forsake journalistic ethics and sell their integrity and character for money and shamelessly support the Congress/ pseudo secular agenda.

The credibility of these newspapers was always questionable at best and has in recent times reached a new nadir.

The country and the majority of its peace loving and law abiding citizens might be enjoying acche din but for Indian journalism, it is sad days indeed.

Robert Vadra claims that he doesnt want exemption from frisking at airports

And now Robert Vadra, the Gandhi son in law is taking the moral high horse and claiming that his deepest desire is to have his name taken off the list of VVIPs exempt from the no frisking list in Indian airports.
If he indeed wanted this, I wonder why he did not make this request when the congress was in power and slightest wish was immediately fulfilled by the government.

Further validation of the Gujarat Model

News has just come in that Gujrat has been ranked the best Indian state for business by the World Bank.
Link - http://indianexpress.com/article/india/india-others/gujarat-ranked-best-indian-state-for-business-by-world-bank/

This serves as a tight slap on the collective face of all those self proclaimed intellectuals and left leaning liberals, who no matter how dubious their qualifications, were criticising the Gujrat model. That their criticism was not based on economic grounds or supported by facts is a different matter - what is more concerning is that these so called thought leaders of Indian society were willing to let their ideological and anti Hindu bias cloud their professional judgements and statements, whereunder anything associated with the BJP or Hinduism became ipso facto a mater of derision.

Unless anyone now thinks that the World Bank has been bribed by the BJP for a favourable report or that the people running the World Bank are RSS stooges, such false criticism of Gujrats economic development and the exemplary work done by Modi ji falls flat on its face and the so called experts do not have a leg to stand on.

The one learning from this is to take all criticism from traditional BJP baiters and minorities with a pinch of salt, because as has been proved time and again, they will manipulate facts and resort to falsehoods to discredit the BJP government and run down their accomplishments.

A study in contrast - Indian response to Chinese military intrusions under the Congress and the BJP

For those of you who noticed, a couple of days back, Indian soldiers demolished a hut constructed by the Chinese army. The hut was constructed 1.5 kms inside Indian territory and was equipped with a camera, apparently to track movement of Indian troops and also bolster China's claim on sovereign Indian territory.

Link - http://indianexpress.com/article/india/india-others/face-off-in-ladakh-commanders-to-meet-today-as-india-demolishes-chinese-hut/

The demolition led to a face off between Indian and Chinese troops, subsequently defused by a meeting between commanders from the 2 countries.

Compare this with the timid reaction of the Congress governments to previous Chinese intrusions, come of which were far more bold and provocative. Our army had to keep quiet in the face of lack of support from the Congress governments, which lacked the courage and self pride to respond to these blatant and brazen attacks on our national territory and integrity.
I distinctly recall a more than usual audacious mass intrusion at the beginning of last year, which was swept under the carpet by the Congress government, dismissing it as a 'minor issue'.

And see the difference now that we have in place a truly nationalistic and patriotic government, headed by people who truly love their motherland and have the self respect and courage to defend our country.
Expecting this from the congress would anyway be unrealistic because their whole political approach is based on minority appeasement and caste-oriented policies, so economic and social development or national pride and security are non priority issues for them.

If we don't appreciate and give credit to the BJP where they truly deserve it, we might very well have a situation in the next elections where the majority votes will be split and the Congress might once again cobble together a coalition government, with support from other selfish, corrupt and pseudo secular parties - which will once again take us back to the days when India was a pushover and subject to numerous aggressive moves.

It is for us ordinary Indians to see these small differences that the BJP government has made in a multitude of ways and appreciate the work they have done so far and the motivation of love for motherland which is driving their efforts.

So let us continue to strengthen the BJP and stand solidly behind them, as they continue their untiring efforts to take the nation to the top.

Fatwa on AR Rahman for making a movie on mohammad

Just read in TOI (let) that a Sunni Muslim group has issued a fatwa against music director A R Rahman and Iranian filmmaker Majid Majidi for their movie 'Muhammad - messenger of God'.

http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/entertainment/hindi/bollywood/news/Mumbai-group-issues-fatwa-against-A-R-Rahman-Majidi-for-Prophet-film/articleshow/48928931.cms

Look at the sudden and complete silence from all those people who call the BJP government 'Ban-chod' and compare this with the outrage evoked when any Hindu religious leader makes any statement about hindu sentiments being hurt)....

Also, no one is talking about a regressive and bigoted religious organisation assuming extra judicial powers and openly issuing threats of violence in a case where the government has already taken a decision as per the due process laid down.

Also, when movies insulting, denigrating or mocking the Hindu religion and its Gods are made, people shout about freedom of speech and expression; while any protests against such movies are denounced as fascists attacks by hindu fanatics on the fundamental right of freedom of speech.

Or is it that freedom of speech is only when the Hindu religion is insulted; and when other religions are involved, the buzzwords are:
a) 'respect all religions'
b) 'be sensitive to the religious sentiments of minorities'
c) 'freedom or speech is not absolute and doesnt give anyone the right to insult god' .
d) The most shocking argument when other religions are involved is one which involves direct threats on the lines of 'if people are offended, some people might lose control and resort to violence and destruction' , in effect threatening to retaliate with violence and also justifying violence as excusable.

Lastly, the sunni muslim organisation issuing the fatwa is raza academy, an academy which has a long history of supporting fanatical elements and extremist ideology, all under the guise of safeguarding minority rights, which the previous minority appeasing congress governments had always turned a bling eye to.
Just to refresh memories, the raza academy was the one which organised the azad maidan protests which quickly devolved into a full scale riot, where policemen were assaulted, policewomen molested, police arms stolen, hindu idols descreated and monuments to national heroes destroyed.
Another case I can recall without having to google was in bhiwandi where the raza academy orgainsed riots leading to a few policemen being burnt alive.

It is to rectify all the issues mentioned above that we need to support the BJP and reject minority appeasing and votebank pandering pseudo secular parties like the congress. NCP, RJP, SP, BSP, JD(U), TMC, CPI and other Leftist parties etc.
Otherwise the day isn't far when the violent minority will overwhelm the peaceful majority in terms of numbers and we will suffer the same fate as hindus in pakistan or Bangladesh.
